Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA 9 ABV

Aroma: 7. Very hoppy with a slight malt scent. Like a strong IPA

Appearance: 4. Copper colored. Median head that has a fairly nice lacing.

Mouthfeel: 3. Medium body with medium carbonation.

Flavor: 9. This is where this beer shines. Hoppy bitterness with malty sweetness. There is a roasted nutty taste. There is the slight taste of alcohol but it is very slight.

Overall: 18. Yeah, that's a high score for me to give an IPA. While there is definitely the hoppy bitterness but it is nicely balanced by the malty sweetness. There is a great aftertaste too. It's one of those beers that come in a 4 pack and is therefore a bit on the high side but this is one of my favorite IPAs that I have ever had.
